A Circle of Support is a group of people invited to come together regularly in a freely given way to support the vision of a person with disability. The Circle functions as a community of friends and allies working with the person at the centre to fulfil and protect the person’s vision for a good life.
Many families have found Circles of Support to be powerful tools for helping their loved ones achieve particular goals, such as finding meaningful employment, building a social network, or moving out of the family home.
Would you like us to run a Circles of Support workshop in 2025?
Last year, we ran a workshop about Circles of Support that was very well-received. If families are interested in learning how to establish and run a Circle of their own, we’ll run the workshop again in 2025.
