What does meaningful work look like for your family member with disability?
Whether your child is still in school, about to graduate, or finished long ago, you want to see them in a real, fulfilling role, not just kept busy, but truly seen, valued, and growing.
But finding that path to employment can feel overwhelming. Maybe you’ve heard they’re “not ready” and been told to wait. Perhaps you’re unsure where to start or how to help them find something that truly suits them. You’re not alone, and you don’t need all the answers to get started.
In this free one-hour webinar, we’ll introduce you to Customised Employment, a proven, person-first approach to job creation that starts with the individual, not a job ad.
You’ll walk away with:
- five practical, doable steps you can start taking now (each one takes just 15 minutes)
- ways to notice what your family member already does well
- tips for building a visual resume that shows real contributions
- tools to start exploring workplace ideas that fit who they are
- clarity, encouragement, and next steps.
This one-hour lunchtime session is ideal for:
- families of students with disability
- families of young people who have already left school
- anyone wondering how to begin the employment journey without NDIS support or a service provider.
No experience required — just curiosity. Whether you’re dreaming big or just starting to ask questions, this session will help you take action, not just notes.
