Day 2, 3:30pm – Keynote
Sheree Henley and Isaac Peel
Isaac delivers magazines to the waiting rooms of doctors surgeries and car dealerships around Canberra. It was an idea born from several brainstorming sessions and a bit of creative thinking by the members of Isaac’s microboard – an incorporated association that works to build a good life for Isaac.
Isaac loves to ride in the car. The movement, the passing scenery and the music on the radio are bliss for him. He’s very good at greeting people with a handshake and a smile. He’s able to carry a light weight bag and is excellent at remembering locations and routines. He has a fascination for reusing ordinary objects as things of great wonder and amusement so we consider him to be a bit of a greenie. So we put all these things together and came up with Isaac Delivers.
In this session we will talk about the detail to get Isaac’s business off the ground.
- Why we went down the path of creating a business for Isaac
- The process for coming up with the idea
- What the first steps were
- The business model
- The vision for his business in the future
