Who is a Job Supporter?
A Job Supporter helps people with disability find and keep jobs that suit their strengths, interests, and needs. This role may involve various tasks, including finding jobs that align with a persons interests, planning, engaging with employers, and providing on-the-job support. Whether the job supporter is called a job coach, mentor, or facilitator, the main goal of a Job Supporter is to create opportunities for meaningful employment by working closely with the job seeker and their family to ensure success in the workplace.
