Founding Director and Public Officer

Paul is a founding Director of Imagine More and serves as the organisation’s Public Officer and Secretary. His journey in this community area began with a fundamental shift in mindset following the birth of his son. Supported by family leadership organisations in NSW, Paul moved from asking “what will society provide for my son?” to imagining “what is possible?” when a child with disability is supported to hold the same aspirations as their siblings.
With a professional background spanning finance, education, and organisational leadership, Paul brings a rigorous lens to the Board’s governance. He has previously served as a financial controller, a lecturer of pre-service teachers, and a Director for several community organisations. Having recently retired from his operational role as Imagine More’s Business Manager, Paul now applies his expertise to the organisation’s long-term sustainability and strategic oversight.
Paul is deeply committed to the Canberra community, where he has spent years teaching students, serving on community organisations, and coaching youth soccer and swimming. Outside of his community work, Paul is a devoted family man, a lifelong Sydney Swans supporter, and can often be found swimming, surfing, or dreaming of his next biking adventure.
