We hope people would always first resort to the community before engaging any paid support in a persons life. But we know that community support often needs to be complemented by paid support. But how do you get that right?
It starts with a vision for a good life. Understanding what a person wants to do and who they want to become will clarify what and who the support should be. When you identify how a paid support person can support your son or daughter to move into a valued role this helps you work out where you might find the right person.
We have a number of resources that will help you find the right support for you.
