Anne Keep

Anne joined the Imagine More team in November 2020 as the Project Coordinator (Typical Pathways Initiative). This involves coordinating peer groups, webinars, and other events that support the core work of Imagine More in building a community of true inclusion with valued roles for all.

Anne’s working life has been spent in the disability field. Before she joined Imagine More, she worked as a service provider visiting homes, schools, workplaces and community venues to provide training to build the capacity of people with disabilities and those who support them. Her experiences have made her a strong advocate for inclusion in education, the workplace, and the community. Working at Imagine More allows her to focus on promoting inclusion and working directly with families.

Anne is a mum to two amazing and entertaining children and three fur babies. In her spare time, she enjoys various crafts and getting out in nature by running, bushwalking and camping. She dreams of living on a property one day where she can enjoy open spaces from her doorstep.

  • World Cafe

Join our World Café, an opportunity to generate ideas, share tips, and learn from everyone in the room. During this interactive session, you’ll be invited to consider some questions or scenarios and share your insights (through conversation, pictures, post-it notes: whatever works best for you!). You’ll begin at one table: When the bell rings, each person will move to a different table to ponder a different question.

Some of the questions you might find at the tables may include:

    • How do we ensure our loved ones are safe in various scenarios?
    • What kind of support might be needed for the person to take care of their pets?
    • How can we use technology while ensuring the person’s privacy is respected?
    • What are some of the small barrier that risk becoming larger ones?

After the conference, we’ll share the ideas and insights generated by every table.
