Supporting decision-making at home
We all make decisions every day. When we support others, we can open or close opportunities for decision-making, depending on how we provide support.
Michelle Browning will outline some important strategies families can use to build their loved one’s decision-making capabilities, including respecting the person’s will and preferences, minimising our own influence, and collaborating when exploring risks. She will use stories to clarify how these strategies can be used when deciding about home.
