Safeguarding the future conference
A two-day conference held in May 2024 at Hotel Realm, Canberra
As family members, we often worry about how to safeguard the future of our family members with disability and wonder who will ensure their good lives continue when we are no longer around.
The Safeguarding the Future conference aimed to answer these concerns – and many others – by providing information, strategies, and practical tips about safeguarding the short-term and long-term future of people with disability.

Opening opportunities conference
A two-day conference held in May 2023 at Hotel Realm, Canberra
Opening Opportunities was all about uncovering employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. Our speakers included families, young people with disability, and professionals who have opened opportunities using Customised Employment. Over two days, they shared their lived experiences of customising employment and provided practical tips that could be implemented straight away.
