We are excited to welcome Kate Rea to our August 2016 Conference.
Kate Rea has been developing responses to supported decision-making at ADACAS over the past 4 years. Kate has worked closely with people whose decision-making capacity is impaired, their family, friends, carers, alongside the broader community, to learn about the kinds of supports that are needed to ensure people are engaged in the decisions that matter to them – large and small.
Kate believes that everyone has a role in supported decision making – as decision makers and decision supporters.
Kate is an experienced researcher, trainer, and facilitator who has also developed an supported decision-making web tool, www.support-my-decisions-org.au.
