Nina Francesca (Frankie) Magrath is an emerging artist based in the Riverina, NSW. She’s active in creative communities and loves the excitement of artistic collaboration and exploring new mediums and practices.
Nina established her microenterprise, Nina Frankie, in 2021. She sells greeting cards featuring her colourful digital prints at exhibitions, online, and the occasional market. They are blank on the inside and perfect for every occasion.
In 2024, Nina participated in Work of Art, an 18-month development program for regional women in creative industries. This is a pilot mainstream program that has allowed her to develop her business and connect with more than 60 other creative regional women in business. In November 2024, as part of the program, Nina exhibited her work in Orange, NSW and participated in the showcase panel discussion about Arts and Disability.
Nina has been working towards her first solo exhibition on 4-15 April 2025 at The Station Creative Workspace in Wagga. She’s also planning to expand her product range in 2025, which means we can look forward to seeing her beautiful printed designs on other items.
You can follow Nina on Instagram, where she posts about her most recent inspiration, work, projects, and exhibits. One of our favourite recent pieces is her jacket, which features her cat design!
